The annual Dorothy L. Sayers Society Award ceremony is nearly upon us again!  This year’s winner is from the Northants District, and the DLS Society has contacted Janet Stevenson, our President, to ask us to ring the bells of Bluntisham again – we must have made a good impression last time!

At the moment there is some uncertainty about the date but 8th May looks likely, which would coincide with a normal practice day.  The fine details would need to be worked out once the date is set, but if you could keep this date in mind, it would be very helpful.

It’s subscription time again and Sonia has asked me to remind you all that she would welcome payment as soon as possible.  Cheques should be made payable to ‘The Ladies Guild’ and the subscriptions remain at £5 for adults, £2.50 under 16s and £50 for life membership.

The National AGM takes place this year on 19th June, based around Syston, Leicestershire.  I would be interested to know whether people are interested in extending the stay and making this into a holiday as we have done in the last two years.  As we need to give ourselves time to get organised, I would appreciate offers of interest before 12 February.  Thank you!

Lesley
